My role within UCF Sustainability was that of an intern who acted as a creative director, lead designer, and lead developer. When I joined the department as a Digital Media Assistant, I took on the task of re-inventing the brand. Working with my supervisors, I set out to change the face of UCF Sustainability. This resulted in a clear but flexible creative identity that spans web, print, and social media.

My approach to designing for UCF Sustainability was to embrace bright colors and clean design while adding a bit of youthfulness. Our audience being university students, we needed to meet them where they were and grab their attention. My designs were used to advertise group meetings, events, and sustainability challenges. I also created materials for the department leads for use in reports and marketing.
